I wanted to share with you the album I did for our nephew and his new bride. I have so much fun doing this project. My plan was to just complete 20 pages, but once I started putting the pages together, the project grew. I eventually ended up completed 44 pages and split the project into two albums. I made the first album all about the wedding ceremony and the second album was all about the reception. You can view their wedding album here.
I hope you enjoy browsing through Kyle and Kristana's wedding album. Feel free to leave a comment or two to let me know you've been here.
Thanks for stopping by.
Till next time...
Happy Scrappin'!

Leanne

Season Greetings from the Rubber Room
I can't believe its been over a year since I've posted anything on my blog. I deepest apologies for being so neglectful. I've spent the good part of the year working on our nephew's wedding album. It kinda got away from me and as not a such a new scrapper, but this being my first wedding, I wanted to include EVERYTHING in the album. The album ended up being split in two album, first one being the ceremony and all the preparations and the second album concentrated on the reception. Each of the albums has 22 pages in each. So instead of posting all the pages here, just copy and paste this in your browser (https://picasaweb.google.com/Scrappingamma/KyleAndKristanaEislerSWeddingAlbum#)and it will take you to see all the pages in the first album. Now, the second album is waiting to be shipped to Kristana and Kyle. I didn't want to mail it during this busy time of year. So, once we get past the holidays, and Kyle and Kristana receive their album...I'll post the second link. UPDATE (29 Jan 14) The second album for Kyle and Kristana was mailed out last Thursday. So, they should be receiving it within the next week. I am so excited for them to receive it and make their wedding complete.
Let me tell you a bit of what I did for this album. I used CTMH's La Belle Vie paper pack in addition to using Vineyard Berry cardstock. Its been retired now. But I love how well it all went together. I made a lot of the flowers and used flowers from Prima Marketing and I am roses and flowers from my stash. I used alot of sketches from CTMH's "How To" books, searching on web, pinterest and using sketches from friends who have such a gift of constructing an easy to follow sketch, such as Susan Springfellow and Amarylis Doria. I love you guys and still in awe of your talent.
I didn't want to leave today without sharing something with you. So, before we left to go to Kyle and Kristana's wedding, I had completed a few layouts. Unfortunately, there was no time to for posting. I am still very computer illiterate and have such a difficult time with blogger. But its a love hate relationship, and we'll get past this eventually. So, keeping with the season, I wanted to share these layouts with you of my twin grandson's Jaden and Benjamin. These photos were taken in 2007. (You can see how far behind I am in my scrapping) I've used CTMH's papers that have been retired a while. The wreath on the left side, I cut with my Wishblade and glued each one down. I love how the wreath came out!
Thanks so much for stopping in today. Even though its the end of January, I don't think its too late to make a New Year resolution. I am going to try (get that TRY) to post on a more regular basis and share with you the pages I have completed. One thing I didn't do this year was to put an outlandish goal of completing so many pages each month. They'll get done when they get done right?
So, until next time.
Happy New Year and Happy Scrappin'!!!
Hugs,
Leanne
