Finally...Gamma Got Some Pictures!!

I have a son who lives in Oklahoma with his wife and three girls, Ivy, Allisson, and Emily. Emily was born a little over a year ago...and I have yet to receive the first picture of the child. Well, either Michael or his wife, Lisa, decided to send me some pictures. So, I decided to share with all of you the pictures he sent. I will try to explain each pic...hopefully it won't get too confusing.

This first picture is of Ivy and Allisson. I am not sure of the dog's name. (if that is a dog!!) LOL You can tell from the date on the pictures of when these pictures were taken. The next two pictures are of Ivy, Michael's step daughter. She's bright little thing. Mike tells me she makes the honor roll at school each semester.

These next four pictures are of Allisson. She's a cutie patootie!

These last two pictures are of Mike's youngest daughter, Emily. She sure looks alike like her daddy! She reminds me alot of Mike's grandmother, Kathleen.

She too is a cutie patootie.

Thanks for letting me share in my excitement. Let's see how long it'll be before I get some pictures. High school graduation perhaps? LOL

Until next time...

Inky Hugs,

Baby's First Halloween

Hi again!

Welcome back. I wanted to share the final page of Deborah's first year album. I am so excited to have this album completed. But you know...I have learned never to say I am completed or I am done. Cause all of a sudden, I'll have an idea hit and off I go and this album could be just that. Clear as mud? LOL Lets just say, I am finished with it at the moment.

I completed this layout using a sketch from "Got Sketches" blog. It was a sketch challenge on one of the many yahoo groups I belong to. We couldn't get that baby to smile for nothing. She was so tired. But we did take her to two places that evening and then off to home and to bed she went. Everything, from papers to stickers I have accumulated over the years and I just pulled everything out to complete this page.

Thanks for stopping by. Now off to work on some of the grandson's pages for their books and possibly some of my own children's books.

Until next time,

Happy Scrappin'!!

Babies Dressed in Pooh Clothing

Hey everyone...

I just completed another layout this week. This layout is a remake of a layout I did for the design team layout I did way back in 2005 for my LSS. They kept the one up on display for the longest time. But because I have two babies in the pictures, I needed to do another layout so each could have their own layout in their albums.
This first layout you see here is the original layout I did for the LSS. They supplied us with limited amount of product and we needed to complete a layout. I had one sheet of patterned paper, but to do anything with it would have made the layout way too busy. So instead I cut it apart and use certain parts for the layout.

I love to work with striped paper but had none, so using the deckle edge cutter, I cut .5 and .25 inch strips and glued them down. The store was fascinated with the way I did this layout. AND it was preWishblade days, so everything was cut by hand or with a trimmer.

Now the remake, since I didn't have guidelines to go by, I was able to be as creative as I wanted. I used CTMH's Emporium paper pack along with the My Stickease. I used my Nestabilities to cut the scalloped circles and scalloped around the title. The bottle caps came And the Pooh characters are made of chipboard and my good friend and downline, Pat, picked those up for me at Joann's. The big center pictures of Pooh were cut from the patterned paper and then topped with a round window charm. The font I used was from 2peas called MisterGiggles. And the bookplate is a new product from CTMH in the Spring 2009 catalog. I should mention the cardstock is Vineyard Berry and Crystal Blue and Sweet Leaf.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting. I need to get back to this final layout for Deborah's 1st year album. Once that is completed, her book will be done. YAY!!! So stay tuned!!

Babies' Intro

When my children were born, we didn't have the luxury of having sonograms done, like so many pregnant moms do today. With my grandchildren's albums, I have used that picture they gave us of the sonogram as their introduction/first page of their album. So this is what I have done for my children's firsts page of their albums.

I used various scraps I had in my stash. And what I didn't have, I created within my Wishblade program. I am trying to learn Adobe Illustrator, but its a slow process! LOL

Thanks for looking, stay tuned for some more layouts.

Inky Hugs,

Busy Busy Busy...

Hey everyone!

Miss me? I do apologize for not posting more. I have too many priorities and not enough hours in the day. I keep saying one more then I'll post. Who knows what I mean when I say that to myself! LOL Anyhow, I have alot of share with you today.

First I want to share the layouts we'll be doing at my February Workshop this coming Tuesday. Now, if you like these layouts and would like to do them for your albums, just shoot me an email or you can visit my other blog ( for more details.

I used CTMH's MRK Daydream paper pack. To make the tiny little balloons and party hats, I used Karen Foster's Scraparutus dies. The stamp set is Cupcake Sprinkles from CTMH and then embossed with Fiskar's embossing plates. Then I ran my White Daisy stamp pad over the top. I used Pop Dots to lift the cupcakes up off the page. On the second page I just the "1" candle out with my Wishblade. My good friend, Jennifer, made a file for me with the balloons and changed the color to suit my layout. I then made a cutting file and cut them out with my Wishblade. Did Jenn do an excellent job? Thank you Jenn for all your help. The assortment of buttons and brads came from Jenn's website, I used liquid glass on the the tiny balloons and I really don't care for the look of them. But since the page is done, I won't change them.

Thanks for stopping by...I have more to tuned.

Sweet Harmony Layout

Hi there!

As I have stated in my previous posts, I am dedicating my time to completing as many baby pages till the inspiration runs out. So that means I best get busy eh? I wanted to share with you today the 2 page layout I just completed of my grand daughter Deborah. She's 6 weeks old here and its her first professional portrait taken.

The papers I used are from Close To My Heart's My Reflection Sweet Harmony. I also used CTMH's new publication, "Reflections" for the layout ideas. I used my Wishblade to cut the scalloped squares, the letter "D," the center flower in Amethyst, and title "Simply Adorable". All the embellishments with the exception of the Prima flowers, and ribbon are from CTMH. The dotted organza ribbon came from my stash, and the thin purple ribbon came from ribbon club selection. The two white flowers on the left layout, is also from CTMH, and the Amethyst flower inbetween was cut on my Wishblade and then embossed. I embossed the biggie flower and the Amethyst flower with my Cuttlebug embossing folder, "Swiss Dots."

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time!

Hugs and Smiles,
